Food Recipes : Cimol with Sweet and Spicy Sauce -- Cimol, this food is one of the snacks from Bandung which is quite phenomenal among Indonesian children. Easy enough to make a cimol. For spices or sauces, you can be creative at your own pace. Here is a Cimol recipe with Sweet and Spicy sauce
Ingredients:
9 tbsp Rice Powder
900 g Starch flour
2 ½ tsp Baking soda
6 tsp Wheat flour
2 tsp Salt
½ tsp Pepper
700 ml Water
Sweet and Spicy Sauce:
7 pieces of cayenne pepper
4 tbs red sugar
Garlic 2 cloves
2 tbsp Tamarind water
200 ml Mineral water
Salt ½ tsp
Blend all ingredients then boil spices until boiling.
How to make :
- Sift rice flour, starchy flour, and wheat flour.
- Combine rice flour, starch flour, wheat flour, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly distributed.
- Pour the water little by little while continuously stirring.
- If you feel elasticity is enough, enter baking soda. Mix until evenly distributed.
- The shape of the dough becomes a sphere, or you can make it as you like.
- Turn on the stove and heat the oil in the frying pan.
- Insert the shaped cimol into the frying pan.
- Fry until the dough expands and ripens.
- Serve with the sauce
