Nasi Goreng, or fried rice is
a rice dish that has been fried in a skillet or frying pan and usually mixed
with other ingredients such as eggs, vegetables, seafood, or meat. It is common
to eat by Indonesian every day for breakfast, lunch, even dinner! To cook Nasi
Goreng is very simple and easy. Let’s cook it, shall we?
Ingredients
1 plate full of white rice
3 cloves of red onion, sliced
4 meatballs (optional)
1 egg
1 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs sweet soy sauce
Cooking oil
Spice seasoning
2 Bird’s eye chilli pepper
1 clove of garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make
- Grind the spice seasoning together until its set.
- Fry eggs for topping. Set aside.
- Saute sliced red onion with cooking oil, don’t let it burn. Add grined spice seasoning and meatballs until slightly fragrant.
- After that, enter the white rice and add soy sauces. Stir well.
- Put into the plate and the fried egg on top.
- Nasi goreng is ready to serve.
You can be creative with this
Nasi Goreng recipe by adding ingredients or seasoning according to your taste,
for example, you can change the meatballs with sausage, chicken, beef, or even
seafood. You also can put sliced carrot or cucumber, and change the oil with
butter for more savoury taste. If you love spicy, you can add more chilli
