Batagor is a typical food from West Java which is
usually enjoyed as a snack. Batagor precisely comes from Bandung City, but now
has been found in many other cities in Indonesia. Batagor is served with
typical peanut sauce with extra lime juice and chili sauce. To cook Batagor is

Ingredients
Material:
20 pieces of dumpling skin
5 pieces of large white tofu, cut into size 5 x 5 x 2 cm
100 grams of mackerel fish meat, puree
100 grams of peeled shrimp, fine count
200 grams of starch
2 eggs
1 spring onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves of garlic, fine count
1 teaspoon fish sauce
½ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon salt or customize
Cooking oil
Lime
Peanut sauce:
150 grams of beans, roasted
2 large red peppers
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon vinegar
½ teaspoon salt
100 ml of water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
How to make
1.
Mix the meat of mackerel fish, shrimp, egg,
garlic, fish sauce, pepper and salt until evenly distributed. Add slices of
green onion.

Add the starch and knead until well blended.
3.
Cut white tofu diagonally into triangles. Made
a tiny hole in the center for the dough.
4.
Put the dough into the middle of the tofu. Be
careful not to destroy the tofu.
5.
Fill the dumpling skin with the dough and glue
the corner until the sides stick together.

Heat oil, fried tofu and dumplings until
browned.
7.
For peanut sauce, mashed red pepper, beans,
brown sugar and salt. Add water, vinegar and soy sauce.
8.
Cook the sauce over a low heat while stirring
constantly until it boils and thickens.
9.
Cut into fried tofu and fried dumplings, order
on a plate. Pour the peanut sauce on top and add a bit of lime juice.
